Food trucks are God’s gift to Earth. One of my favorites is a Filipino truck called Tito Adobo. The food is amazing and the owner is the most genuine man I’ve ever met. The menu features Tacos, Fried Rice, Chicharon, and Lumpia Shanghai. I love the Lumpia (pictured) and I get like 7 of them every time I go. Two words sum them up…Mouth. Watering. And the sauce? Perfect blend of tangy and sweet.
I’ve also had the Tacos, Fried Rice, and Chicharon (yes, pretty much the whole menu). And, if you hit it off with the owner, there’s always a little somethin’ somethin’ cooking in the back that’s not featured on the menu (you’re welcome).
Did I mention that once a month they host a bottle share? Basically anyone can come, bring a large bottle of your favorite craft beer or wine to share, sample what others bring, and enjoy special menu items. Good food, good drinks, and good people. Y’all, there’s nothing like the local food community. It really makes Austin feel like home.
